Last day before departure
Of course chaotic and many things to finish!
An overflow of thoughts, feelings and memories from the past week cross my mind. Especially the exceptional farewells last Friday and Saturday and the great time with my friends and family back here in Germany!
It still feels quite unreal that I am about to leave again for another 4 months!! It seems as if I just came back from Central America… But I guess I am ready for another trip J Ready to take off with Thai Air tomorrow night to start off an amazing four months trip to Southeast Asia. Here’s my tentative itinerary:
Starting off in bustling Bangkok I shall head first to Myanmar to explore the unexplored and then calm down meditating with some monks in a Buddhist retreat. Unless the Larium Anti-Malarial renders me too paranoid and I start seeing non-existent monks when I am supposed to concentrate on my breath ;-) After having learnt everything about breathing and having found my absolute self I should be hanging out on some of the world’s nicest islands in Thailand relaxing and diving with hammer and whale sharks! Whenever ready for some more culture, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam are on the list, before I will relax again on the Philippine Islands for the last 3 weeks of my trip! Well, that’s the plan for now, but who knows!! All might turn upside down after one day already! I’m open for anything. And if anyone feels like joining me along this fantastic itinerary for a little while within the next 4 months, go ahead!! You are more than welcome! Just write me an email.
I hope you will check this site from time to time to give me at least some virtual company on my trip. I am surely going to miss all of you, my friends. Drop me a note from time to time and feel free to comment on any of the stories I will publish on this travel blog.
